OMG I didn't think it would be this good... But yeah, everyone you HAVE to see the ending before you watch this is you will be forever truly spoiled!

Bakadeshi - The series was worth it. But yeah, the ending was so sad... I was crying for a whole hour straight. And then after it was done, I was like "That was the saddest thing ever... I can't believe it ended like that.." for about an hour after that... Truly intriguing series.

Yeah, if I remember, they pulled a "Gainax" . It felt very much like they were getting back at everybody for complaining about those 4 back-to-back recap episodes.

Maybe recap is the wrong word. "Recycled" is more like it. Episodes 15-18 were totally useless - basically retelling the entire series from the beginning from each character's (wolves) point of view. It was a month where Studio BONES basically "went on vacation" and just edited scenes from various episodes, writing a monologue around it.
