iTunes downloads
What format are iTunes downloads in? If it's mp3, does anybody know what the quality is?

iTunes downloads are in protected MPEG-4 Audio format and have an extension of .m4p. These are 128 kbps which is just about the quality of a 160~224 kbps MP3. If you have iMovie 4.0, then you can directly use these files for movie editing without the need to convert. If you're using an old version of iMovie or movie editing on a PC, you will need to burn the track on an Audio CD and re-rip it as WAV or AIFF. I say those two and not MP3 because you should do the MP3 encoding while you export your movie instead of during production.
Yeah ... I use a Mac ... it works and I like it.
