I almost joined before i got to some of your rules that sucked to me.Nice prizes though

just wondering but what rules didn't you like...i dont care if you dont join less compitition for me and the others i just wanted to know witch rules you didn't like.

I am back from Alaska! And as soon as I wake up(i've been on planes since 4:30am today to get back home) enough, I'll do all the updating.

I'm going to see if I can fix the stupid webpage by actually physically coding it(-_-') and I've got to add people to the list as well as take them out...

Master's deadline is around 3 weeks from now is it not?
And from what I remember you guys weren't keen on joining because you needed to work on your master's video...

ANYWAY. I understand your pain since, if all works correctly, I will be working on my master's video, too (Although I'm just a LITTLE late in the game! ^^;;; ).

And thus, the deadline has been pushed back further, to a more suitable october 10th 2004.

I am pretty sure this will be the final deadline move, as I happen to like this date. It's a good enough spacing after AWA for procrastinators, and it allows me 5 days of recovery from what will be my birthday(10/5) and I'm HOPING it will be a crazy party... But am not sure yet.

So if everyone agrees on this date, everything will be good.
Also, not many people replied about the prize.

At this point in time, The prize is, unless you want something from the massive list, whatever you want from ebay.com, amazon.com, or gamemusic.com for under 50 USD. Inclusing shipping.

I made a smart move and didn't spend the money in Alaska, so it's now reserved for this contest. And my guinea pig just peed on me. Damnit.

ok ill try and make this as simple as i can....(sorry its late and im kinda tired)

To upload your video you can do it 2 ways.

First you can simply just put the ftp address in your address bar like you would any normal URL but instead of http:// it will be ftp://. It might take a min or tow but when it is connected a message box will then pop up and ask you for a user name and pass, which are given to you when you request an upload. From there it is a simple click and drag.

The second (and one i use) is a little more complicated. First off you will need an ftp program (look at me being so smart ) such as WS_FTP or SmartFTP. You can get these by going to Download.com and serching for either program. I use SmartFTP for this...its easy and free but i will explain both programs too.

when using SmartFTP:
First you have to install it (duh)
Then you need to open it
On the screen you will see a place for the address, user name, and pass. Fill in each sections using the information given to you when you request an upload. Then hit enter.
Once a connection is made with the server simply click and drag your file to the all white area that appears after you hit enter. The file should start to upload as soon as you put it in.
wait until the file is done uploading and then close the program

Now when using WS_FTP:
Like always make sure the program is installed and then open it
It will be a little different then SmartFTP but uses the same concept.
Once again you will see a place for the address, user name, and pass where you will fill in that with the information given to you when you request an upload.
When the connection is made you will hear a sound (I think) to let you know your connected
Once your connected you need to locate your file by searching your C drive using the pannel on the left of the program screen.
Once you have found your file hi-light it and press the arrow poing towards the other screen.
A transfer screen will pop up and tell you how long you have until the file is uploaded. Once its done uploading close the program

I suggest making atlest one copy of your video. I haven't needed the second copy yet and i dont honestly know what i would need it for but i sill make one just incae i need it for some strange reason
