I'm just getting still pictures to move accros the screen, so nothing fancey. I'm just gettings some problems (I bearly got one trasparancy right).

How else would the program know that the bottom one needs to be transparent also unless you tell it? It isn't too hard to hold control, select both clips and then go into the clip menu to apply the transparency to both at the same time. Actually I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you saying that you have to set a transparency option on the bottom most layer in order to just get through the second layer?
