Hey was there any plans to try to get this project to show at the AWA expos?

I was looking at the rules, and I belive it can be done, It says something about upto 2 hours of footage. (even though I don't think they ment they would show it all) Just wondering how others in the project feel about this. Ofcourse this would mean finishing this project before August 27th ;p I guess it would be better for Rose4emily to contact the AWA Staff about it though to see if it could be aranged.

so long otohiko, hope you're back before too long.

which videos aren't finished?
2 from otohiko................................done
1 from me......................................done but need to ul latest version
1 from rose4emily...........................not done (i'm assuming)
1 from pen pen...............................not done
2, probably, from songbird...............not done
2, probably, from jasper isis.............1 done, 1 almost done
1 from aznraver..............................done
1 from ooshna................................done
1 from anubisx00............................done
1 from Maverick..............................almost done
1 from bakadeshi.............................done

and about the monologues, are they all going to be presented the same way? (whatever that way is) -- 1 minute of speech is a little boring already ; if its the same presentation 14 times over and over it will ... compound the boringness.

and i wouldn't have anything against submitting this to awa.

Yeah all of the talking in between videos would get boring maybe we should cut it down to a sentance or two each.

I think a sentance or two is pretty short.

You can put mine down as almost done, just some tweaks.

Pen-Pen- I got a chance to see your newest version. The main problem I had ith the titles is fixed in this one, however, I still have reservations in the back of my mind on them.... I think they seem to plain to me still. Maybe try a blurr like effect on it and see how it looks?

or a outer glow maybe, just play with the effects see if you can come up with something interesting that fits the mood? I had the idea of maybe bluring it on the fade in and fade out sequences, and have it focused on the in parts. If that made any sense. But i'd have to do the same as you and just play with various effects till I find somehing that looks neat without being too cheesy.

If not they are probably fine as they are... I just think it may be better still with some kindof flare/profesionalism to it. I don;t realy have any examples, except maybe Otohiko's Ararat video, but that style probably won't fit this one, youd have to come up with one that fits better i think, I'm just using that as an example as somehting that makes the text look less plain, = more profesional. DJIzumi's trailers also are usually good examples of ways to manipulate text some. I kinda wished I did that some more with AR myself, is one reason why i'm mentioning it.

if you guys do decided to included monologues, are the creators themselves going to write them, or just one person?

Some quick notes and questions:

What is the "Full screen" resolution size?

My monolouge will be done by the end of tomarrow.

I'm pretty sure the version of my vid that I'm encoding now will be my final version.

Something is screwy w/the FTP. I can log on just fine. But when I upload my vid it moves insanely fast and then posts as done, but the resulting file is 0k. Help please.
