Mixing songs

Can you like have different types of songs in one music video? Like one minute, there's a part of one song then another song coming on it

I don't think I've ever seen such a thing before occur in an amv. Sounds like a DJ's duty however. So you'd need some decent mixing software if you don't have your own turntables. Adobe Audition and AtomixMP3 would be useful if you want special effects and fade-in/fade-out effects.

If you're serious about it, I'd brush up on some mixing basics for DJ'ing. Otherwise, good luck on that.

BakaDeshi is being too modest. He used a song that was done with a remix of old Doom2 video game music. Joykiller also made a pretty good one using a combination of Filter and Crystal Method; that's probably more like what you wnated.

Well I didn't actually do the mixing of the songs on this one though. Mazedude holds the credit for that. I used the peice in its intirety from what he gave me, except for a slight alteration at the end in wich I lengthened it a bit.

The one I posted was an example of where the creator of the video mixed 2 totally diferent songs together seemlessly himself for the purpose of the video.
