Yea that's what I thought. But I don't have anything really formal so can I just wear my cosplay even if it's not FF related?

By the way...did anyone here go to Metrocon last year?

I did.. only on one day for like a few hours though..

3 days this time!! look for hokage! (dude with the big hat) I'll be cosplaying for one day.. dunno when though.. eH?

It would work...of course we might never be able to go to Metrocon again...

Ah, *faint* I need help! If any of you have been to Metrocon please help me out with the dumb dress code ordeal! My only real problem is that I don't know if my dress is to fancy.

for the final fantasy balls, you can cosplay Final Fantasy

since this year's theme is FF7: Advent Children, you cannot cosplay any FF7

I don't think they will deny anybody the right to attend based on clothing since they would just be shooting themselves in the foot for doing that. Anyways, based on pictures and videos, it looks like you can go as anything you'd like.

On the Final Fantasy Ball webpage it says that you CAN do a Final Fantasy 7 character but you won't be known as that person, you would just be known as a person dressing up as that person.

So I guess with all the posts on how to dress the topic of what to wear there is answered?

hmm.. oh well.. if memory serves right.. they didn't allow other people to do FFX last year(as it was the theme), only some assigned people.. :shruggs:
