Hell I don't think raising the money woudl be a problem if it can run the donut.

You would find yourself doing the same lame mistakes to save time. Lets face it, most people won't even notice interlacing issues and slightly blurry lines on their tv. Corrans exmple it perfect, the difference is night and day, and *obviously* looks better, but if you just watched it for the first time you'd just think it was a dark anime.
