Which folder can I upload to? My access was denied in both the "Instrumentality" and "Upload" folders.

Odd. Upload should be OK. Let me check that.

Hm. It works fine when I connect local. Let me try remote.

Hm. Very odd. I think you may have an issue, Rose. I tried it from a remote shell, and it work just fine. Of course, I've been working with the commandline client, so that may be involved, but I doubt it.

Dunno. I just tried a few times with the text-based FTP client, and still no luck. It might be something on my side, though, keeping me from uploading. I suspect the router, but am not yet sure if that's the problem. I was trying to put the file to the "upload" folder, for reference's sake.

I like the idea of using real names also, if everybody doesn't mind.

No offense DWP, but I get a little chuckle every time I look at your bumper. "Tomoe in the Moonlight... directed by DownWithPants" :P

Rose4Emily: would you like me to put the files in a zip? Because right now they're already downloadable from my server (already BMP images, that is).

Surrealism is pretty much done. I'll have the final beta up tomorrow morning, since my computer is slow... as... hell... :?

(Thank goodness I'm getting a brand new one in a few weeks.)

Bakadeshi, I hope you don't mind me taking your musical score idea for my sig. >__>

real names got my vote

hehe, i wanted to put my real name in the title bumper instead, but everyone else was using their org names, so i just used my org name for consistency. if everyone wants to switch to real names on title bumpers, i'd be fine switching, but if not, i'll stay with dwp.

as for putting both org and real names on the cover, i'm just worried the cover might get cluttered. but if it ends up that we have org names on the title bumpers and real names on the covers, the best place to connect real names to org names would be in the ending credits.

Well

There goes my policy of hiding my name in secret :P

Aw what the hell. People will have to get the DVD to find it out anyway, so why not, I'm for it. Suppose it makes it look more professional.

Since I seem to be hit with a case of insomnia, here's the latest beta for Surrealism. Brought to you by the wonders of XviD 1.0. Now with better transitions, normal door-openings, and more smoothly floating feathers!

... Actually it's not that dramatic. I only made a few subtle changes on things that annoyed me. :|

Thats the only problem I see with puting real names on the covers, I think perhaps we may need to change the bumpers to reflect them. Or, I can try and work with them and see if i can manage it on the covers without it looking cluttered. I do agree the real names will look more profesional.

No offense, but Tomoe in the moonlight - Directed by Downwithpants is an excellent example ;p (what? director had his pants down while making this? O_o)

How about Everyone PM me your real names along with how you want your org name to look, exactly as you want it spelled on the cover, and I will see what I can come up with.

But then, Would you want me posting the new covers here? some people are picky about their real name showing up on the net....
