Does one of you get paid for it, then?

Ian, totally unrelated, but I just noticed that both you and I also have nicknames with just two letters (AD and DW) :-P. The similarities continue...

But yeah, he's sadly right

As long as the community is healthy and growing there will always be people fascinated by the history of it all. (Tho to be honest I prefer a lot of the newer videos.)
Knowing ErMac and knowing his videos are two different things. For instance, try typing www.something-awful.com without hyphenating it. Can't be done. Do you know why?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Well I do my best. If someone is just better then me at that perticular subject or time it tells me I might have to work on whatever it is I wanted and try again.
In our darkest hour I will not let you down.

I doubt I'll ever make another video that becomes as popular as Sappy Self-Indulgence, but I still have hope that I have some good videos left in me. I made Sappy Self-Indulgence and Self-Titled at the same time, and that came after a 2-year drought in which I felt rather dried up creatively (which is somewhat how I feel now). So...I think it comes and goes. Meh.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Sometimes I certainly feel like I have. My second video was way better than my firt ones and since I (sort of) finished it I haven't even come up with an idea that had the potential to be better. (Execpt one, but I made up all the animation and so far have found no anime that matches it.)

But I think it is never inevitable as AD says. There can always be that one idea that just falls together and was better that you imagined.

I'm not sure about topping out creatively, and skill and technology will always keep improving. But I do feel I've topped out in one way, shear fun value. The two I had the most fun with, my fourth and fifth, are a pair of DBZ videos I made back in mid 03. Don't get me wrong. I still have a blast when I put a video together, and I may, someday in the future, create beautiful works of art, but never think I'll have more fun then when I made those two.

I dunno... I've made 4 videos since coming here, and each one's gotten a bigger response than the last. But I think AEO:EB may be the limit for me in terms of enjoyability.

I've got one more big, original comedy idea that's been stewing in my head for months, but it requires many more sources than I have... so I'll probably end up waiting a few years (like, until I have some real money) to make it. Other than that, I don't know.
