In US, they generally do a ton of shows during the summer, and then air then at the fall season one at a time. During the time it starts, they'll finish off the series. So halfway through with watchng the series, they'd have already finished recording it's last episode. But, this isn't always the case though and different shows have different recording times. Some shows they actually can record a new episdoe each week, but these are generally reality TV shows where all the hard work is in the editing room.Lone Wolf wrote:I think I remember hearing that the 6 episodes of FLCL took 2 years to make. What are the ranges for how long it takes to make a regular (26 ep.) series?
I also want to know about shows that come out weekly. I'm talking about U.S. show new episodes that come out every week. Do they take only a week for one episode to be made or do they take a LOT longer, get finished, then get held for a while until it's aired on the scheduled week?
Dang....i forgot my question

I'd like to know how much it costs to make each episode you watch.... For example I know that Family Guy on Cartoon Network costed approximately 1.1 million an episode. How much do you think Naruto would cost an episode? Now keep in mind they're up to episode 88 and still going! :O

sum take longer for scripts, others for animation, others for simply approval of the idea in general
so there are too many individual factors to consider for anyone to give you a hard number that will always hold true... so i really hope ur asking for an average... which i don't have
