Is there more then 12 ep of pilot candidate?

I am watching pilot candidate again and i am getting close to the end and i was just woundering if this more then 12 eps of it.... i bought a 4 dvd bundel and i realy like the anime they did a great job of setting all the chars up and they got me all hooked into it and just when there about to do some polt... it ends. So basicly i am askign if you know if there is a contuination of this series and what is it called?

Nope. There's only twelve episodes, but there is the manga series. I don't know how much further the manga goes, but it's at least five volumes long, two of which are already out in English (as The Candidate for Goddess) from TokyoPop.

To answer that, I ask you this: Why did they keep cancelling Tenchi Muyo? not a strong enough fanbase. No revenue = No reason to keep going.

They continued the story in a radio program. My guess as to why they didn't animate any more episodes is because it wasn't getting good ratings. I think they made an OVA episode later though.

Yep, this is true. It's not really all that good though, worse than the actual series. It basically thirty minutes long, and focuses on characters that weren't in the original series that much, or characters that were never in the T.V. series. There's also NO plot at all. To put it another way, there's a reason it never got released here in the states.

The no revenue thing is trure for Candidate for Goddess, but NOT for Tenchi Muyo...... Nope.... They are still making OVA episodes back in Japan. (they have FINALLY made a sequel related to the original OVA)
