I was disappointed with Ghost in the Shell. I didn't see very much in it, and the characters were hardly memorable at all... but I have to admit the animation was good.

I was disappointed with how little of a storyline Shamanic Princess had, though I liked the series otherwise. So I wasn't really disappointed with the whole series.

End of Evangelion disappointed me (just the movie though, I really liked the ending of the series). The gore and violence seemed a little too excessive and it was way too depressing of an ending for my taste.

I was also dissapointed with the Escaflowne movie. It was way too short for what they were trying to do, and it really didn't do the awesome series any justice. I had expected more from something that had the Escaflowne name. All I liked was how they drew Van's wings.

At first I was unhappy with the last Trigun episode. I had the same problem as Lyrs... the ending sucked because it ended a great series. But now that I've gotten over not being able to see more of Trigun, I find I like how it ended.

Anime scares me cause of it's disturbingly huge eyed characters! Somebody post a picture with some character with huges eyes!!!

Anyway, what character had teh biggest EYES? Lain has some huge eyes, they are scary, just looking at them eyes gives me the goosebumps.

Lain had grey aliens. I HATE grey aliens in a serious context. Maybe I was abducted or something...going to the bathroom does hurt...

I was disappointed by the ending to Bastard!!. I mean, it was practically screaming to have a continuation of the storyline, but nothing came of it, (unless there was a sequel that I'm not aware of.)

I was also let down by the endings of Twilight of the Dark Master, and Saber Marionette J. The former's ending was just weak, while the latter's ending made no sense. Keep in mind, I'm talking about the last minute or two of SMJ, where no explanation is given for why a...certain event, (to avoid spoilers), happens.

Aside from that, I was disappointed by X: the Movie, but then again, who wasn't? Great animation, but that was it.

Animes have to have some kinda ending other wise the story would go on forever like DB, DBZ, DBGT.

I have to agree. thats what makes the big diff between amircan cartoons and anime. while most amine has something of a storyline with a begining middle and a end while most american cartoons go on pointlesly untill cancelation.

DBZ does not have a wise stoyrline, it's only about beating the crap out of one person for 50 episodes.
