Anyway they don't really get any money from CDs
yup, all we doing is making the Music industry rich. Artist get proably about 5% of each cds profits. Still that 5% is justice enough to buy the cd to support the artist, that and CD sales in itself, (just the numbers) support the artist aswell. So If I like an artist... like Hamasaki Ayumi for example, I always try to buy their cds. (even though I REALY hate that new copy protection thing they doing now with her cds... almost wanted to boycot buying them. Easy to get around when ripping, but inconvinient since its not compatible with my mp3 diskman) Not all my AMVs are made from cds though, If I'm forced to use mp3, I only use 360mps or greater quality, and I interleve it directly into the final project to get best quality. its the multiple re-encodes that kill the quality. Its gotten me no lower than 9s in reviews, so people seem to agree it still sounds prestigue
