Perfect drug is a better song, but honestly machine head would suit the anime better.

You and you'r fancey beats. If you already have a good idea of what you want, then I can't stop you. Go with what you feel. I would do jazz. But thats cuz its already there (think I could get away buy riping the ending and putting it up?)
I haven't heard the songs. But Machine head does sound better suited.

I think it's a little bit of a stretch though. The story that Perfect drug conveys would be difficult to match up to akira in parts. Machine head already makes little sense, much like Akira, that's why it would work.
