can anybody tell me if there are any versions in english or if they are all subtitled in english only? it looked rather amusing although its not good enough to watch in just subtitles.

It's already licensed by Geneon (also known as Battle Vixens), and the first volume should be out now. Though I heard Tenjou Tenge is SO much better than this.

Gah, I should clarify that Geneon changed Ikkitousen to Battle Vixen. Sorry if that sounded confusing. :oops:

Wasn't the Manga release named Battle Vixens (Tokyopop)? Out now...

the manga looks interesting but i was refering to the dvd of Ikki Tosen or ikkitousen (not quite sure what the exact spelling is).

Whew, I hoped to god that Geneon hadn't changed the title. They are extremely good about keeping the anime true to the original.

They did. It's not released yet, but will be out this summer.
