I like Tank, but I also like Rain and the song they play in Ballad of Fallen Angels when (not to give too much away) Spike has all those flashbacks all at once.

or the possible spoiler-y version:
spoiler wrote:spike is pushed out of the church window by Vicious at the end of their fight, and falls for what seems like a very long time
maybe not a really big spoiler, but I really want to know the name of that song, so I know which OST to buy next. I already have the first one, pretty sure it's not a bootleg, b/c I bought it at a convention which doesn't tolerate bootlegs, and besides, it's not from any music bootlegger I've heard of (music bootlegs are harder to spot than DVDs, because they usually have the same cover art as the real thing, and the same tracks, etc.)

Call Me Call Me:

Pure poetry set to some of the most heart-rending scenes in the whole series. Even by itself, though, the song is amazing. It brings out a kind of pathos very few songs can reach.

Blue:

Whoever chose this one to end the series got it absolutely right. This song appeals to a final triumph, seemingly even beyond death. I particularly liked the children's Latin choir at the beginning and the lyrics at the end.

I don't have one favorite, but I have a few favorites -

Greenbird ("Ballad of Fallen Angels")
Rain
See You Space Cowboy
Look at all my trials and tribulations
Sinking in a gentle pool of wine.
Don't disturb me now, I can see the answers
'Till this evening is this morning, life is fine.

Well I guess we're all agreed that Cowboy Bebop music RoxXoRs for-evarr!!!!11!

I've actually tried getting my jazz band at school to get the sheet music for Tank! and some other songs, but my director was too lazy to actually order it. :? Oh well, we ended up being in 1st place for state jazz, so I guess it all worked out in the end, but still....*Sigh!*
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

Guess I'm the only one with a particular fondness for LIVE in Baghdad. How can you not like a song that screams "E-X-CUTE ME!"
Life's short.
