Boo-yeah! I got it working. Click our banner and it takes you straight to the AIM chat room. We will not be silenced, we will not be stopped...

You guys do realize that technically no one ever took away the AIM chat. It's still there for you guys(since the site admins here have no control over that one). The only thing that was removed was the official link for the AIM room, and you've already bypassed that with your sig. Maybe you should change it to "Want the revival of completely unmoderated Off Topic chat? Join the Unofficial AIM Chat!"

It's our right to protest and protest we shall. All we're asking for is a bit of fun. You can't even crack a joke in an IRC Channel without getting banned. The Ops are out for blood, and I'm going to fight fire with fire!

The ops can't even comprehend blood for blood. If you wanted people to op a chat room, you should've chosen people WHO ACTUALLY WENT TO THE CHAT ROOM. NOT BAN CRAZY JACKASSES WHO CAN"T EVEN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE'S IP. At the rate they ban people, we might as well complain and get the IRC taken away too.

Tab, it's about more than that. You know how we are in the chat room now. They'd never allow it anyway. We make a lot of vulgar and filthy jokes, but it's the people that live the internet like it's real life that can't handle it. And you're going to be caught up in a struggle as to who should be banned and who shouldn't in the IRC Channel with the other Ops. It's not that hard to realize that AIM chat rooms are better, and a hell of a lot more user friendly.

Did you even read what I said? I noted that the AIM chat room is still there, just that the link was removed. If you want to protest that, you're welcome to, but you do have to realize that you're intruding someone else's site that they are offering as a service. If you don't like it, you should start up your own competing site. To fight fire with fire, you should start up your own superior amv site and get people to move over because they think that it's better and have your own chat room the nice unmoderated way that you want it.

And yet this did not result in a ban.

I honestly don't see what you guys are so worked up about, for god sakes. The chat was taken away because an OFFICIAL .org chat must follow the rules of the site. What is so hard to understand? Don't want the rules, then USE THE FREAKING AIM CHAT and don't piss off the people that are happily getting along fine abiding by the rules.

Because I can afford that? Do you remember how much money it took before the Golden Doughnut came into effect? What's even sadder is that I've made one AMV, and I rarely watch any. I'm asking for one link on the site, and it won't even take up bandwidth. All the staff at AMV have to do is slap a disclaimer on their site about the AIM room, and everything is set.

Lmao, don't try that dude. I could only do that cause the other ops weren't paying attention, and you, an op, said I could. The moment I said something withthe word "anal" in it, you guys got pissy. And don't even make me post how you guys crapped your pants when I posted a girl with pretty eyes. Besides, we have have had IRC amv rooms before, AND I WAS AN OP. I did not opress people, and I don't remember banning anyone for ticky tack shit.
