From what was said so far I think that I know why the comments were said, but its a art style used by those who do want to do story boards and such. Looking at the art work and me myself being an artist, it seemed that they wanted the visuals to match the style of the music being projected by the band. (the band them self may have chosen that style/ Mike and Hann are artist)

Things I liked about it were the enviroment and the movements (animations) throughout the video, they were semi-realistic.

Things I didn't like were or is the fact they rewinded the video, which is okay but lack of effort makes me point that out. (lack of effort on their part)

What they could have used as a more of a appelling style to I wider audience would have been, Akira the anime manga film.

All in all its a basic amv that needs alot of polish, but it is original enough for me.
