Oratorio of Ghibli is now uploaded to the project FTP ^_^
let me know what you guys think. Its pretty much how the video is going to look, just going to try to fix those tiny glitches in some of the scenes before uploading the final version. and any other valid points anyone brings out about it here.

Sure, I'll make the bumpers. I just need everybody to fill out one of these for each video:
Title of AMV (Make sure you have the exact spelling/capitalization/spacing/whatever)
Directed by Your Name (again, type your name exactly as you want it to show up in the video)
Also specify whether your AMV is fullscreen or widescreen.
That's basically the format that the bumpers are gonna have. So for example mine would be like:

I'd like to have your replies as soon as possible. Either PM them to me or post them here (I'd prefer PM).

I like the idea of having a silhouette do the comments on the videos. Some viewers may have a hard time accepting Gendo Ikari in full-color as the commentor of a classy musical film.
Plus the expressions and nuances that come with lip-synching are, IMO, very difficult to pull off realistically.

Thank you all. I once again can see this project reaching completion.
Jasper - you mind sending me the bumpers and widescreen/fullscrean replies as they come in? That'd be a big help in letting me sort and arrange the videos that are in that aspect-ratio no-man's-land. You like the sillhouette idea? Which one - the guy in the old leather chair, the kids on their living room floor, or the 50's tv in the Matrix room? Or perhaps one for one half and another for the other, explaining the changing picture shape? Could always work in some sort of simple transition from one to the other - some offscreen dialogue from one environ to the other, just before the intermission.
Kalium - I'll start uploading the latest version I have of anything I don't see up there, one item at a time to be nice to your bandwidth. Again, thank you for catching the ball now that I've dropped it. Would you, perchance, mind telling me how you set up the router forwarding - it might be the same Comcast-supplied model and all I succeeded in doing with mine was to find out how little actual protection it was providing all this time.

Sure, but you forgot to give me your info.rose4emily wrote:Jasper - you mind sending me the bumpers and widescreen/fullscrean replies as they come in?

The guy in the leather chair sounds nice, if you can successfully pull off the silhouette without it looking like a giant lump. I don't really like the living room floor one, and I don't remember what the matrix TV room looks like...

Is thing thing being called Animasia or Instrumentality? Everyone seems to be vastly divided on this idea.

Yea, same here.rose4emily wrote:Um, Kalium:
I can't get into your "Uploads" folder, but I can connect to your site, so I think it might just be a permissions thing.
Jasper - for my videos,
The Wasteland - by Otohiko - widescreen
Ararat - by Otohiko - fullscreen
I'll write up the descriptions in the next couple of days, too.
Darn, I wish I could see some of this stuff - all the hype I'm hearing, but can't see them

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
