new video category?

OK, let's leave semantics and get to the root of the problem.

The Categories for videos are not there to tell you how you will feel having watched a video. A "comedy" does not predetermine laughter.

The categories are there to label what the creator *tried* to do. They *tried* to make a comedy, or they *tried* to parody the flintstones, or they *tried* to make an accurate portrayal of an anime character.

Trying to portray angst, however valid it may sound, on one hand is a too specific version of Character Profile and on the other hand an impossible thing to achieve in terms of audience effect.

I can't accept "angst" as a category for what someone was trying to portray in the video because it is a subset of an already small genre - Character Profile.
