Somebody should make an anime music video with "I Drink Alone" by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. I don't know which anime though. Here's the lyrics:

heh, it would be a good multi anime video...

ive been wanting to use "one bourbon, one scotch, one beer" for a while, but the length is too long to hold anyones attention around here...

That is so Misato...

You really could fit the whole thing to Evangelion, actually, featuring Misato, Asuka, and Shinji - each in their pathetic lonely sates with and their hollow coping mechanisms.

You could probably also pull it off with Irresponsible Captain Tylor, between Tylor and the Doctor, but the 'drink' part's much stronger there than the 'alone' portion.

The real irony, though, seems to be that the man drinking alone isn't really alone at all.

You can also use Mr. Fujiwara from El-Hazard. He drinks all the time in that.
