For those of you who think you are creating revolutionary new innovative forum topics, this one has already been done. I'd link to the specific threads but it seems like over time more just keep being created.

Therefore, I will show you how to use the forum search feature (it's really easy).

So for instance, if you'd like to see if someone has suggested an off-topic forum in the past, you would put

Keyword(s): "off topic forum"
Select the "Search for all terms" option.
Select "Site Suggestions" in the Forum drop-down menu.
Click the Search button.

Enjoy.
