if anyone likes any anime it has to be that slayers is on the top their lists. The reason for that is because the slayers is not just any other anime, it is like slayers has existed at one point. In Japan their are many books of Slayers describing its world and background, not just the charecters. To me Slayers is the greatest anime ever and will always be because its that great. Many anime has done just 1 series or just 5 episoids, for example FLCL. But Slayers went beyond that. Slayers broke the barrier and new stuff about it keeps on coming out to the USA. Slayers was made in Japan back in 1995. In America it is still going on since they released the first series back in 1999 along with the motion pictures. Slayers will go down into anime jistory and will be a classic that will forever will exist. It would be impossible for slayers to die. Soon the books of the layers world will be translated in english so that slayers will just keep on growing here. Anyone else that hates slayers or is just afraid to admit that it is the best anime ever hasn't really understood how far it went to just being another 26 episoid anime.

It seems that you are obsessed with Slayers. It is a good show, but I don't think your predictions about it are going to come true. And it's not going to exist forever. Nothing does.

Also in Japan, there are many books about anime setting and stuff, not just Slayers. Some anime, are also based off of books. Like Record of Lodoss War, which has many books out on it as well.

And as to Slayers having more than 26 episodes . . . well, that's jsut one full season, and it managed to get to three. And it did not "break the barrier" as you so put it. Hell, the way you used the term "break the barrier" doesn't even really make any sense. Also, there are many series that have more than 26 episodes, and some of them are far more popular than Slayers over here. Let's name a few, shall we?

DragonBall Z. It's far, far longer than Slayers.

Gundam. Look how much of it there is!

Pokemon. Why won't it stop?!

And there are more. Just look at all the stuff that cartoon network has shown.

Oh, and let me add one more, big giant one to that list.

In Japan, there is One Piece. It's way longer than Slayers, and far more popular. It even has a bunch of movies, and is still going strong.

SLAYERS IS THE BEST. YOU JAPANESE PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. AMERICA HAS MORE ANIME THAN YOU DO. YOU JUST LIKE TO DRINK SAKE ALL THE TIME. you need to see it. I dont think it has come on any station that most people have but they showed all 3 seasons on the international channel along with 30 other full series with the past 6 years

hey come on man, slayersis really cool. I just can't wait until cartoon network shows it. Then the USA will see finaly see why it is the greatest anime of all time
