1) Why did you start making AMV's?
2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)
3) How many AMV's have you made?
4) About how many do you make per year?
1.
I came across AMVs on an Majin-Planet by chance and thought it was both artistic and cool.

2.
I started my second directly after the first. It took about a month maybe a little less.

3.
I've made four and a few early practice AMVs until found better DVD software. I also have about a half dozen in the works and plenty more ideas for the future.

4.
As many as I have time, correct anime, and correct music for in a year.

well i was somewhat bored... and I had seen that other people were making amvs, and i figured it would be neat if i could do the same.. be part of the group... i was somewhat antisocial in school... and unpopular...
i then dropped school, any friends i had, and made AMVs... and look at me now!!!
Supaaren wrote:2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)

Anime Class?!? Wow aren't you lucky?

1) Why did you start making AMV's?
I don't know, prolly because I had too much free time on my hands. I never saw an amv till I made my 1st one. Weird isn't it? I just made a simple one using downloaded clips and wmm. and boy, have I learnt tonnes since I've been here!

2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)
Well, between my first crappy one and my 2nd one (1st released) about 5 or 6 months. But if it's released, one month.

3) How many AMV's have you made?
3, 2 released

4) About how many do you make per year?
0.5 lol, at least 1 so far...
My comp is haywire!

1) Why did you start making AMV's?

It was largely on a whim. Some roommates and I (all active in our school's anime club) had seen a lot of AMVs (they used to put them on fansub tapes a lot) and heard a song we thought would be perfect for an AMV, and decided to give it a shot.

2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)

No more than a few weeks. Basically, just as much time as it took us to recover/not want to kill Premiere after making the first one.

3) How many AMV's have you made?

Twenty-one (assuming the AniBo panel intros count- and there are two not on my profile, one can't be put up on the 'org because it's a PPG AMV, and the other is my Otakon entry).

4) About how many do you make per year?

Averaged over time since I started making videos, about 2.5/year. Ignoring the large gap when I didn't make any, probably about 6 or 7 per year (though probably only 2-3 traditional, full-length videos)

1) Why did you start making AMV's?
i was a dbz fiend, and while searching for wallpapers, one website (i think i still remember the name...dbfusion i think) had videos hosted on it
after a couple trys, i finally found out how to save the damn things >_< and i liked them, so i wanted to be muey bueno just like those amv creators
2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)
my first videos i made side by side, i'd go back and forth editing them... they were kinda a duo, both had similar concepts (and similar footage  )
i won't go into the details of what the videos were, they were pretty bad, but sumhow i kept them for like a month
3) How many AMV's have you made?
made 10, kept 3 (the 3 currently LOCAL)
4) About how many do you make per year?
i've been going at it for about 3 maybe 4 yrs i'd say...my friend j tells me i've been doing it for like 5 yrs... but that'd surprise me if that was true... i might not have had a computer with windows os back then, lol
so for 4 yrs, i've made
2.5 if you include my unreleased/incomplete
.75 if you don't ^_^
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

My org profile has all the answers.... Except for the time gap between my first and second video, which was about a week... I think.

And then I usuallu have.. I dunno... 5 a year? Or I guess it's obviously more than that since I have so many and have only been on a year and a half... ish.

I don't know! I don't keep track! >.o

1) Why did you start making AMV's?

I saw some cool ones way back in the day (the old-school classics they would be referred to as now and decided I wanted to make some)

2) How long did it take you to make your second video (time gap between 1st and 2nd)

3 Months

3) How many AMV's have you made?

Including my DDR tracks? 8

4) About how many do you make per year?

Depends, I made 3 in 2002 and then disappeared until last March so I won't bother averaging in the time diffference. I edit whenever I get in the mood.
