Just watched the first episode and god<i>damn</i> is it a great show. Fantastic fighting, and it's definately opening up the possibility of more hip-hop AMVs since that's the kinda music inherent in the show.

Anyone else catch it yet? Your thoughts?

I'm not really a fan of the hip hop style music and an ENGRISH hip hop theme song is the devil incarnate as far as I'm concerned, but the show itself is definitely pretty good.

Only thing I don't like about it is the bit jarring way they switch scenes.

Have you guys seen the images I posted in the Weird Screen Caps thread?

I really liked how the first episode went. The scene switching was a nice little change from the usual way we see scene transitions. It didn't take anything away from the storyline. (basically it was showing while that was happening, this was what was going on at the time... or something like that) The flow and feel of the episode was done very well. The contrast between the intro song, the episode and the outro song was a very nice touch. It makes this title stand out on its' own.

I recommend watching it when it becomes available. 8)

First episode just released within the past couple days, and that info's... classified. Especially since Geneon has had the licence announced since AX2003 so hypothetically the show should be off-limits to fansubbers. But announcing a licence before the show airs is <i>hardly</i> sporting...

I just finished watching it.

And I give it a 10 out of cool. The animation is top notch, issa pretty funny, and the transitions rock.

I love it. It's been a while since I've watched a show that actually gave me some laugh-out-loud moments.

The transitions were a bit strange at first, but I got used to them. I hope they use a new type of transition per episode if that's the way they're gonna consistently unfold the narrative.

I'm interested in seeing whether the budget stays consistent during the fight scenes in later episodes, but I'm willing to bet they'd give this director whatever he wanted after Bebop.

i have it and i cant watch it, its in an ogg media file what ever the fudge ogg is? i've tryed to play it in DivX but the screens all green....
