WHERE can I post my amv's to make them DIRECT or INDIRECT do

You know how when you give videos directly to this site it comes up as a LOCAL video? Well, some of the people at my school won't download the videos cuz they have to become a member of this site (and wait cuz of the probation thing), and their a bunch of lazy people so they wont do it. SO, you don't need to be a member to download direct videos, so where can I post them so that they are direct downloads, so I can link them to my site and to this site at the SAME TIME? Please help.

To have direct/indirect links, you need to buy your own hosting. For the most part, the only free hosting you're gonna find for files as large as AMVs is here at the .org. If you do want to buy space to host your videos, http://www.ipowerweb.com is pretty affordable. Otherwise, they'll just have to wait the two weeks.

Or host them off your own computer, though that requires a constant connection to the internet with a fair amount of upload bandwidth available.

Also, a sharp sense of network security, while not a requirement, should be.

Well, if they're trusted friends, give them the password to your screen name. That way, the waiting period is over, and they don't even have to create an account! After they download some videos, change your password.
