Hey,
Maverick7013: The request will be handled by an admin. All responses are recorded so that the admin who hits the second request will see the result of the first request and most likely skip the second request.
Wheee_It's_Me!: It is up to the video creator to list their videos into the catalog. Site admins have very little to do with listing vids. Tying the forum and site accounts was no accident, was highly planned, and took a good deal of effort to get them to pull from the same data source. The reason it was done this way was so that a member would not have to register in two places to have their own username the same in both places. It also prevents two different people from being the same username in both the forum and main site.
I hope this helps.

Yes but if you ban someone then they lose their ability to edit, update and add new videos under their primary nick. Even further, they lose the ability to read and respond to any opinions given about their videos and creates confusion when someone is searching for your videos (unless of course they do it by production company). Do you see my point? If anyone ever gets banned, for one reason or another, you actual hinder the growth of this community.Phade wrote: Wheee_It's_Me!: It is up to the video creator to list their videos into the catalog. Hey,
No, that is not the case. Forum and main site account status is separate. Someone can be banned from the forum and still have all access to the main site (they are a jerk on the forum but behaves them self on the main site). Conversely, someone can be banned from the main site and still communicate on the forum (breaks upload rules but is still nice on the forum). The only issue is that if someone is banned on the forum, they cannot reset their password automatically if they lose it. In that case, they would have to contact an admin to get it back.
I hope this helps.

I think I also heard of you guys working on a system to automatically do the deletion requests , how is that coming along as well? Thank you responding to my question.

Hey,
All deletion requests must be looked at by a human. Most requests are denied since most requests are "ummm, I've now realized that my video actually sucks, so can you remove it?" This goes against the point of the catalog which is to list every AMV ever made.
The current backlog is >1000 requests. The admins who have access to this section have been really busy with cons and finishing up vids for cons coming up soon. The requests will be handled eventually.
