Right now I'm working on...seriously, the most fucked up video ever. And I'm not so sure it's comedy. It practically doesn't belong in any genre.
Bottom line it for me real fast. At poitns in the video, I have Arucard(Hellsing) lip syncing Little Timmy's voice(South Park). And I also have Lisa(Final Fantasy: Unlimited) lip syncing Chef(the big black Chef from south park).
Is that comedy or parody?

To each his own I guess. I rather like making drama more then comedy, but a change of pace is always good for the soulfyrtenheimer wrote:i always thought it was the opposite. i mean, comedies would be easier to make. maybe it's only for some people.
Trust me DDramone, once it premieres, you'll be like "Whoaaaa...I was so wrong"

I agree. Comedy is definately easier. If nothing else, people will forgive a quickly done comedy with timing errors and the like as long as the fundamental idea is funny. No other type of video will get that type of free pass. None of the comedies I've done to date took more than a few days to make (and they look it) and because of that I've gotten review that basically say 'the timing sucks, the lip sync sucks, you suck, I love it anyway'.fyrtenheimer wrote:i always thought it was the opposite. i mean, comedies would be easier to make. maybe it's only for some people.
OTOH, a valid arguement could be made that I don't make comedies, I make travesties. So what do I know?
