I'm taking a nice little shopping trip to West Edmonton Mall this summer. Last year I could not find a store that sold regular J-pop, BUT I know every place that sold anime / sanrio etc sold anime soundtracks.
I pretty much own every soundtrack that's done to one of my fav. animes, so here comes my question:
Are there any vocal anime soundtracks that are really worth the buy IF you havn't seen that particular series?
An example (in my opinion) would be the Samurai Deeper Kyo vocal soundtrack. Even if you havn't seen the show, the music is awesome. It's all very up-beat and "hard rock"-ish. Artists include Megumi Ogata, Seki Tomakazu, Horie Yui, Koyasu Takahito, Seki Toshihiko, etc.
SO ----- any thoughts?

some of the evangelion have alot of great music in them (well, the first one doesnt have much
, but others do) and yeah, its worth buying even if ya havent seein the anime.
things like final fantasy soundtracks however are simply a must for anyone that loves clasical/operatic type music, even if ya hate the games (which i do, but i love the music)
