That scene would be really cool for an opening. Yah...the fact is DVD's are very rare and I think there aren't any official ones, bootlegs....yes. It's a really awesome show and it needs more attention. I'd also like to add Saber Rider, Great Techer Onizuka and my current fave. Mado King Granzort (heh heh, I'm gonna dew it when I finish the ones I'm working on) :P .

The thing about BGC 2040, as far as I can tell, is that it crosses a lot of genre lines, not really fitting nicely in anything but cyberpunk. There a lot of action material, but it doesn't seem to do the anime justice. However, after some searching, it turns out that there are a few nice vids.

That and it's vastly inferior to the original Bubblegum Crisis....

Shush. At least the plot has far fewer holes.

Abracadabra uses some inspired anime.

I think we need some more tentacle demons. You know, tentacle demons line dancing to a country song or something. For some reason, I just never seem to see any of that.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

The problem I have with the show is that almost all the action scenes are of the girls in their armor. You don't see their faces, no emotions, the character is hidden behind a mask making it uninteresting to watch...especially for a music video. Everything else outside of their hard suits doesn't offer a lot of material to work with unless you can work with it for your song of choice. It's possible, I guess.

The animation does look better, but I have to agree that the stories of the original OVA (excluding BGCrash)was more interesting.

Except for the bit where the plot strongly resemble a piece of mesh, right? With all the loose ends left over....

Tetsuwan Birdy or Birdy the Mighty (same thing). The only one I remember that has that anime in it is in a various list and it's not even downloadable last time I checked.

Is a pretty good CCS AMV, one of far too few.

x2 on this one.

The second DVD just came out, so maybe we'll see some more videos in the future.
Another pointless post!
