There's still a lot of hard subbed stuff around and not every show has a creditless opening.

You need to get a plugin to do the sub removal, there's a link in the sub removal guide but when I last tried it it was dead. I tried using a plugin called "delogo" (can't find the URL, Google should help) for my last video, but TBH the results weren't great. I suggest cropping the video in Premiere (or whatever editing program you use.)

*and i have some tenchi vhs that is subbed.. but im not gunna fool with that for a while, glad we could help..
