Drum n Bass

Post by milesj04 » Thu May 13, 2004 9:42 am

Hey, I'm not really a hardcore AMV guy, just been downloadin a few movie ...anyway I'm a big dnb fan but I can't seen alot of AMV with drumnbass/jungle tracks (is there any?). I would've thought it'd fit pretty well with action type vids, anyone know if it's been done before? I did a few searches and couldn't find even the old shit you always see on Kazaa (eg Aphrodite remixes for those is the know) or the more common DJs that made it into the charts (Shy FX, Tali)

I'm was actually working on one, but I scrapped it to work on one that I'd scrapped before, but couldn't live without finishing (I don't have much HD space right now, but I'm trying to fix that). I don't kno whow long it'll be before I get the D&B vid done, but it's next on my (probabyl way too long) list. Check my website every once in a while, I make sure to update as soon as I finish a vid.

Hmm, I know a few, I like this kind of music...

Atvaark's Anthem - Pretty good effects and a beat that gets stuck in your head. The best video of this kind I've watched so far.
Dark Kamui's Legend of Pretear - Great synch and great atmosphere.
Matt Page's Semi Automatic Maiden Mahoro - Drum&Bass with comedy? hell, it works!
jbone's YABV - Now that's Jungle style music and it's cool 8)
Anything from this man: David Violence - His videos are based around this style.

I planned to edit to a beautiful electronic piece of music for Connichi this year, so stay tuned 8)

Just thought I'd completely x2 that vid. It's brilliant - the music beat matches the visuals on many levels, the editing is smooth and a shows lot of effort, and there's very little else like it on the org. Wouldn't look out of place on a late night experimental music tv programme at all. Very professional.

It does require some good speakers to get the most of it tho lol.
