While we're on the topic of female perverts, what's with some of the girls at conventions? I see a lot with signs referring to "free hugs" and (less often) ones that say "grope me" or something similiar.

Is Fake manga any good? The animation style kinda has me avoiding it....

I felt the same way at first...you know how I love pretty boys, Moonlight. But I checked it out out of curiosity and it's REALLY good. I haven't seen the OAV. I think it's kind of old, and the animation isn't very good. Plus it only covers a very small part of the manga (like, one book). I hate it when they do that.

Implying that guys obsessing over hot girls is better than girls obsessing over hot guys is obvously hypocritical. Implying the inverse is just as ridiculous. Let's not get into the whole discussion here. There may be arguments to be made, but it all comes down to the fact that all these things appeal to the same basic instincts, and there's no reason my making a friendly remark is not acknowledging that it all goes both ways...

This I agree with, except that yours was NOT a friendly remark in the slightest. What possible reason would you have to harp on that if not to cast aspersions on it?

Hmm... well, I'm sorry you interpreted it that way then. I assure you, there was no ulterior motive there from the start.

Or maybe I was (wrongly) relying on my history of barging into yaoi threads with J-0080 and providing comic relief, largely by ridiculing ourselves more so than the actual fans of yaoi (such as that picture of me and him posing as characters from Gravitation), which was generally taken in more or less good humor

But anyway, might as well quit before I get myself misinterpreted again. Just remember: I'm about the last person to go homophobic or to start bashing people's entertainment preferences here on the forum.
