I'd bet good money that's a bootleg, but also let me reccomend the Samurai X movies to you, as they actually come before the series, anyway.

Yeah, it's too good to be true.
However, here's where you can get the individual DVDs for almost half off.

And Grave Of Fireflies <-- I hope you like sad movies...

Jin-Roh. No second thoughts about it. Get the special edition (movie, 2nd DVD with extras, and the CD soundtrack)

That is indeed a sweet special edition, and a sweet movie. Unfortunately,
MILLENIUM ACTRESS is better. So buy that instead!!!

It's an anthology movie from Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira)
Three stories:
1. Magnetic Rose - A salvage group answers an SOS to an abandoned station and wind up getting sucked into the past of its occupant...kind of creepy, but well done
2. Stink Bomb - A well-meaning, if not somewhat oblivious guy, winds up unintentionally turning himself into a walking biological weapon...and he doesn't even realize it...the lightest of the three, but it's worth it, if only for the ending *won't say for spoiler reasons*
3. Cannon Fodder - Kind of a different tone from the first two, but still quite good, this one's about a day in the life of a town where everyone works to fire a series of cannons at an enemy they aren't even sure exists or not. Kind of a mix of cute and depressing...with the art style it's like if George Orwell did a children's book.

Jin Roh's a great movie, but can be hard on the stomach. Sounds like you're looking towards the emotional pieces and Jin Roh fits in there.

I'd recommend Memories over it, though.

True...but don't watch it if you're prone to depression. Seriously.
