Yeah Gasaraki was good..it had its moments. It is pretty realistic, with the action being the closest to reality regarding a mecha series. At first it kind of reminded me of Evangelion with the whole spiritual linked mecha and prophecy aspect.
It is a bit compliticated when it comes to the political/economical situations..my brother totally got lost...but he is only 12. The final battle was great..but the ending was a bit anti-climactic...though the series opening and ending still ruled.
