Yeh, the anime was pretty cool. Unfortunately it has several superhero type functions via Alucard/Arucard (Arucardo?) that usually piss me off. I hate invincible characters that always get new powers whenever things get tough. It steals any real drama or tension from a show.

I thought that the whole story was wise to use Victoria as a focal point. Alucard just didn't seem like all that interesting of a character to me.
Integra had promise, as a dramatic element to the whole story, and the bits that we saw that focused on her past and the formation of her 'relationship' with Alucard were pretty good.

I guess what the series really needed was either more focus on less characters, or a slightly longer run of episodes.

well thats your opinion on the anime mine is that the anime is better then lots that i have seen but nothing ive seen has not yet to bet rahxaphon i you can find ne anime that can possibly bet that anime then let me then others shut up just kidding, just kidding. i thought alucard was cool the way he kills his prey is fuckin awsome hes a damn dog and some dogs are cool but hes one dog that makes the acception there..................................

well anyways its always nice to hear someone elses opinion even if its for music vids. speaking of music vids when the hell are you gonna give ops on my music vids or if you are gonna do it if not then tell so i can make even better ones then before and you can always pass them by like you always do now

Yep, just save some cash and get the official mangas.
Also, U.S. release is up to vol. 3.



Give the creator some money, and he might make more Hellsing. C'mon you know you want some more, so show your appreciation and buy official. (pictures are more clear, and much esier to read, not to mention you can take them places a pc won't fit.)

yesterday i just watched the last eps of hellsing and it was fucking cool but i was kinda disapointed with the way it ended i kinda expected the anime to be longer but i cant change that though. but either wise it was a fuckin rockin anime i will buy it as soon as i get money

4-6 aren't out in English quite yet, actually vol. 3 just came out.

Also, keep in mind that even thought there are 6 Japanese vols., the series is not done yet.

At the very least there should be a vol. 7, and more than likely a vol. 8, as the author us still doing the series (currently serialized monthly in Young King Ours in Japanese language)

Well if it is legit, it shouldn't cost less than ~$100 (the cost of a U.S. dvd box)
Also, what region is it? How do you know for sure its not a bootleg? (I've had people who truly believed their bootleg boxset was official)

I presume for the boxset you mean Japanese region 2 right?
I just checked that out, if you did get official R2 Jap discs, it should cost you about $250. Hellsing Rescript 2-5 (must be sold out of 1)
