Going BERSERK!!!

So I'ld just like to ask around and see if anyone knows what will become of Berserk. I have owned the series for a while now and when I finished watching it i was so dissappointed

that I thought perhaps i didnt buy the entire series. Does anyone know if they will maybe continue the story, or will it simply be in the manag? I have gone out to a few fan sites and all I've been able to find is random information that it was on late nites in japan but still had a huge fan following and that there are alot of manga out that havent even been translated yet. Anyone have any more details for me at all? I loved the show but thought it ended at a terrible spot....GRRRR....FRUSTRATED

There are no plans to continue Berserk. The fan base for the anime wasn't all too large in Japan so they dropped the project. The manga is currently up to volume 27. There are rumors going around of a continuation, but rumors are all they are. Personally I dont want to see a continuation unless its exactly like the manga. The series was EXTREMELY dilutted. The violence was only on a scale of 6 where as the manga was at 9.5. Furthermore they left out a shit load of stuff during the series. I'll give them credit, the ending basically promotes people buying the manga.

In one of the dvd's there is an interview with the directer who said that if they brought the idea of making new episodes he would love to do it and would take it right away (Or something like that) but there is no word as of yet that they will pick the series up again (Damn you 12:30 time slot

I dont know about the time slot being a problem, I've seen other shows like Green Green on later than that in Japan, but it never really hurt them. I think the main problem with a continuation is the fact of how graphic it is after the eclipse. Blah, Im fine with just reading the manga. I still consider the manga to have better action scenes in it than the anime does.

Ditto. I want it to be remade all over from the beggining without any censorship. Plus, I happened to notice many errors in animation drawings. Like some outlines being to bold or to curved. Quite noticable when you prepare the footage for editing and you pay close attention
