Re: Reply
The MGS 2 'footage' is realtime, rendered within the videogame engine. There are no pre-rendered cutscenes a la Final Fantasy, and so the only way to get the scenes is through video capture.
Thrashu, if you're too lazy to obtain your own footage, you shouldn't be editing. Besides, quality issues with any footage you'd manage to find on the internet would pretty much nullify your vid.

Some of the Metal Gear videos I've seen have used footage from the trailers or some other videos from Gamspot that can be downloaded, although the video quality on those can be very low. If you want to get good video quality, you have to take the video from the game yourself, but that requires some hardware and a lot more time than ripping DVD footage.
Anyway, to answer your question, if you want to take the easy way, you can probably find a few trailer videos or various gamplay clips for the different Metal Gear games at gamespot.com, or in a file sharing program.
(Note: I downloaded the Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance trailer from www.konami.com/usa/ a long time ago, although they usually only have new or upcoming game trailers available for download so you won't be able to find MGS2 videos, but they do currently have MGS3 trailers.)
