I've seen The Remedy, that is to say, I saw it. sorry Simpsons' joke. It was well edited, definitely had a fun mood about it, and lyric synch you won't have to worry about with a song with unintelligible vocals. "The Diva Dance" is the one the blue alien sings in the huge auditorium I'm guessing?

Well, it seems this thing has gone from a stream to a string of bursts of activity.

Sonbird - New members still welcome. FTP is the one posted a few times in past few pages, you can go ahead and put the song and any bits of video you may have so far up in the "Inbox" of the FTP to share them and gather feedback and so forth.

You can make your own banners if you'd like. Everyone else did theirs on a whim as far as I can remember.

Otohiko - Good to hear you've gotten into the FTP now. Just in time, too, as I took my computer offline for a few hours this evening.

Hmm I just got an Idea, maybe I could edit somthing to the first half (more like two thirds really) since Mood synch is the about the only thing I'm good at and you could do the fast part since you have a lot more experience with timing and effects. Then we could use the bubley sound section to transition between the two. The music is so diferent, having two diferent editing styles would fit right in. Definatly some interesting posibilities....

I would have to think about it more but I like the song and it would be nice to have the whole thing.

As far as the fast part goes you could have both dance and action as long as you kept the two distinct, I belive that's how it was in the movie.

I'll try to rent a 5th Element DVD and rip a HQ version of the song. It's been too long since I saw that movie anyways.

I'm kinda stalled on my part of the project, darn DVD drive on the fritz, might have to buy another one. Or clear some space of my laptop and do it there.... wich is quite daunting.... I'll figure something out soon so I can get you guys a WIP soon.

Argh, my free trial for the FTP program I was using ran out and I had to get a new program and now I can't connect. It gives me the error "Failed to establish data socket." We don't need a particular username or something do we? Maybe it's just offline right now....

Download this one. It's free and really easy to use. I've been using it for over a year with no problems. I love it. Click on FileZilla_2_1_7_setup.exe and choose "open" when prompted (Assuming you're on windows).

Just as I was getting excited about all this, it transpired that the Bebop DVD's are... no longer with me.

Oto- Still need Beebop footage? I have most of the DVDs. if rose4emely doesn;t mind me dumping multiple gigs of VOBS on his HD....

They are all region 2, except the movie is HK, but still good quality.

Or maybe I could copy them and mail them to ya... and you promise to destroy them afterwards to eliviate any Copyright issues .. or somethign.... well let me know ;p
