post number rating system
I have seen on many other forums where the number of posts you have determines what title you have. For example.. 1-15 newbie, 16-40 fanboy/girl all the way up to like 1000: Otaku. Something like that. These titles are usually show under your selected avatar.

postcount +1

"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

I like it the way it is. Other forums seem too cluttered with the huge sig/avatars and all the info and rankings. If you need to know, the date joined will give you an idea of who the newbies are (not to mention giant sigs and inane questions.) And you can always check the profile for post number.
Anyway the way we have it seems a lot more fair and makes you get to know people. Instead of people wearing respect like some kind of badge you have to make a name for yourself in peoples memories, not on some server. Plus it's hilarious when a n00b starts messing with an old member who hasn't been around for awhile. Or even better, when someone who just joined starts this huge (and stupid) argument with AD. Talk about your exercises in futility.
