So. Anime North. Who'll be there?
Anime North 2k4. It's certainly going to be interesting, with the hotel and TCC issues, but it's still going to be fun. I'm also looking forward to their japanese guest- Atsuko Enomoto. I'm part of a group of fans who will be preforming a concert the Sunday, and the AMV contest will likely kick ass once again.
So who all is coming? Entering a video? Cosplaying? I'd be nice to see some other AMVers out there. ^^
If there's enough of us, want to get together for dinner Friday (after the AMVs) or Saturday?

I plan on going. I don't know if I will actually have enough money to buy anything. (Lousy $45.00 entry fee
)
Make sure you wear your badge, Anamorphic. I know you were there at the Convention Centre in March, but I never saw you there. I also hope Moonlight Soldier and Moonies Rule can also go to Anime North. (And other Canadian ORGanists as well)
But most importantly, Anime North is not just for Canadians! American ORGanists please go to Anime North if you can. If you are from Michigan or New York it should be little difficulty to go. It's a first rate convention, so I highly recommend going there if you're from those two states.
It will be fun to see everyone there!

I know Moonies_Rule can't go (she has to work), though if I do end up going, you can meet my other dear friend, another one-post-wonder, Sioned.

Yeah, it's $45. Last year, it was $40. There is a deadline where you can register cheaper (in this case I believe it was $35) but's that was in mid-March. It's worth it though since it's a three day convention and there are tonnes of people there.Moonlight Soldier wrote:Ack, $45? It's too bad Otohiko and Moonies_Rule can't be there though. I am as broke as Otohiko, more or less; I'm going less to buy stuff than to socialize with other otaku. (One of them hopefully will be the girl from the same anime club I go to who I got a crush on

LOL. All my money tends to go into cosplay and hotel rooms normally anyway, so I never go to con for shopping purposes. (Especially since I live in Toronto and can buy 90% of what I see in the dealers room downtown) Which makes AN a mainly social con for me. I figure I'll have maybe $50 bucks spending cash, tops.
Yes! I shall wear my mighty ORG badge with pride. ^^
And I fully concur. If you're in the US and are debating on coming- do so. It's a very lively con that is a lot different from the massive conventions in the states like Otakon and whatnot. And of course, contrary to popular belief, Toronto does have running water.
