I've found that most people (not familiar with anime or the particular series) tend to not really like that video. It's the kind of AMV that goes best right after you get done watching the series (IMHO).

As far as editing technique goes it's certainly one of the most flawless I've ever seen. Seemed to use a lot of reanimation techniques too, which although not super rare, well, I've never seen them done to that level of perfection.
