Anime Central AMV COntest Deadline

Just a notice, that if your entry doesn't get to us by Midnight on the 30th (tomorrow!) CST then you've missed your window to have entered the contest. I would say that it's pretty much too late to mail it via regular mail, if you are planning on mailing your entry, you better make sure it gets mailed out today, and that it's sent overnight, beause it won't get to us in time any other way.

We will stop taking ftp submissions for Anime Central after midnight tomorrow. If you're in the process of uploading your video by the time midnight rolls around you won't be disqualified just as long as you started your upload before midnight.

The status of my video, as listed under the ACen contest at Otaku Video, has been "New submission... not checked yet" since I submitted it. Am I okay?

yes you are ok, in order for us to keep better track of what videos have been check and which haven't we wait till after the deadline submission has passed. if, for any reason, there is a problem with your entry, we will contact you and tell you what the problem is and allow you to correct it. If no matter how hard we try and are still unable to correct it, we will allow you to present us with a corrected version of the video at the con. please note that this does not mean we'll be accepting at-con submissions, I will not accept a video at the convention unless there is a problem and you have my permission, (not having the video finished, or missing the deadline is not a reason)

No, filling out the infromation on the otaku video site when you create your profile is what we use as the entry form, when you finish uploading the video and add it to the contest you wish to enter. you'll select the category it belongs to.
