Is it me or do the scenes/choreography of Rurouni Kenshin TV

.... look like they were done by an amv creator?

Especially during the Kyoto arc during the fights with Soujiro and Shishio.

Here's an example..

Image

We got character faces just fading in out of nowhere, transparent eye shots, border shots, etc... all over the place.

It's kinda funny how before I watched Kenshin but I watched Kenshin amvs, I thought these scenes were added in by amv creators but I never realized they were actually part of the show :P

Not sure if I feel that it's a good or bad thing but it's really weird watching this show from an amv creator's point of view.

well scenes like hat are common in animes andon live actions as well. It just you aware of the other characters in the scene and their reactions at the same time.
