Just started reading the manga and I gotta say, this series is very spiffy. Now I know that there's an anime for it, but I also know that there hasen't been a R1 release. ;_;

Anyone know if any company is planning on bringing it over?

I think cartoonnetwork was going to air one peace but they changed there minds.

By last check no one had licensed it yet...there were rumors flying at one point that Funi had it, but they shot those down...

So, it could be a while, the companies are still duking it out for the rights to it.

Hmm maybe I should start reading it from the beginning...I've only read the occasional random chapter...and wasnt' overly thrilled with it...

It's the one where the guy eats a fruit or something and becomes stretchy or something right?

Yeah, Monkey D. Luffy (or just Luffy) ate the gum-gum fruit. So now his body stretches like rubber, but he can never swim.

I've heard differently. I've heard that Funi pretty much has it, just not officially yet. They have some other shows to finish before they'll make the announcement.
