I guess since I'm on the main staff at this convention I ought to promote it.
No Brand Con is primarily an anime con, but we have a little bit of everything including sci-fi, gaming and video games. We just had our fourth annual NBC a couple months ago and it was a huge success.
What kind of stuff can you expect to see there?
- staffers in costumes made of cardboard, duct tape, bubble wrap, and other ingenious materials
- cosplay, talent show, amv contest, dance, and other interesting events
- tons of video games and anime
- something called "Is My Roommate Dead?" sticks
This con really is unique and I can guarantee you you've never been to anything quite like this before.
No Brand Con is located at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
