  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I for one wish there was more of that good stuff.

Wow. How on earth did you make the quality of it look so good? Actually, I kind of figure how, and it sort of makes me shudder at the thought of all that effort.

Yep. Excellent work. As a note, I gotta admit that, oddly enough - the simpler the editing, the more it seemed effective on me (mid-later part is the highlight for me).

The downside - work of this quality discourages me from trying to pull a romantic KK AMV I've been hoping to do myself...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Thanks for all the replies, I didn't expect so many for a simple remaster.
angelx03 wrote:Ah man! I just burned your first version of the video onto a CD, and now there's a better version. Cool!
Sorry for the wasted space on the CD. On the other hand, I'm flattered to hear that someone actually burns my videos for archiving.

JCD wrote:Hmm, looks like the better filtering especially helped some significant parts of the video while others didn't seem to look better. However, I dig it 8)

The sound of this version was not as loud as in the old one except the vocals. Came out a little better like that :)
Yes, some scenes were more problematic than others. I tried to maintain the quality of the parts that already looked quite good while improving the others.

I've got very bad ears for hearing differences in audio, but apparently there is an audible difference between 192-256k vbr and 320k cbr. The stereo sounds are perhaps a little better separated.

Mine was probably so much worse that they wanted to get it off the Donut as soon as possible. :P

I love the series too...

I can fully understand that it can feel a little long, especially if you don't care much for the song.

All it took was days of testing different filters, exporting and importing pieces of the video and a little Paint Shop Pro magic. Like I always say, not having a life is a major advantage in these things. :)

Thank you very much, this means a lot to me. I always try to convey strong feelings with my drama videos, and hearing this kind of feedback is the greatest prize.

Congratz, you topped Center of the Sun on my favorites list! It was what got me into AMVs and into Conjure One :D

...'course, other videos already topped it, but...

...still, very good work! (I may have to op it)

...you got the song stuck in my head

That's the way I found C1 too, and now... this is... wow.

How did I manage to miss this in my last post?
