SUBS NOT DUBS!

The real otaku do it the Sub way, no pun intended.
I mean, when you translate from language, you just lose so much meaning. Watching subs is just better!

Plus, being an otaku gives you the bragging rights of somewhat resembling a house.

When Gundamseed comes to CN, they had better not dump Nishikawa's wonderful music.

Can you please reword that so I understand what your saying? Its just that they weren't talking about subs but dubs!

No I don't think there is one definition nor can one person define what an Otaku is...I mean I listen to both Subbed and Dubbed (Inu yasha for instance is a great dub.) I'm an Otaku yet I watch both please don't presume.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that understood that.

The main problem I have with dubs is that they sometimes butcher the translation trying to match up the syllables with the mouth movement. Also when they have people do voice overs like in Love Hina I can't help but to switch to subtitles. I always watch the anime subbed first. Later I will watch it dubbed, depending on the quality of the dub.

I hate dubbed animes where they change the entire thing and butcher it. Sailor Moon on Toonami, GOD, they like COMPLETELY changed the dialouge, and they changed the title and the music and everything X_X.

No, I got that as well I just... didn't find it amusing.

The word Otaku doubles as "fanatic" as well, you know, wang.
