Question: Has Hamlet ever been done in Anime??

Don't know of any anime, but there was a Simpsons episode about Hamlet. Good stuff.

Use the Mel Gibson version from 89 although it leaves out the background war story. It's much than the crappy one with kate winslut.
Why does it have to be animated? all the videos I am working on are combination anime and real footage.

The reason for it having to be Anime is.... I live in a small town, no more than 5000 folks, and there are only 105 graduating, and it part of one of my Sr. Projects.. and I just like to show them that their is more than John Deer, Cow Tipping, and FFA!

speaking of books that need to be done as anime, does anyone who has read it know of an anime version of Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card? now theres a book that is just crying out for animation

hmmm....dont know of any hamlet animes. but Disneys Lion King is pretty much the story of Hamlet. Toned down of course

Don't worry about it. IMO, held up to closer inspection, the theory really doesn't hold up.

Um, this same exact link was given on the previous page; in fact, in response to the link, I yelled "<b>GO READ THIS NOW</b>".

And really, it's a Slayers version of Hamlet, not a Hamlet version of Slayers.
